Summer Is Here
In the summer what we do is we run all day long. Theirs different sights we go to in other words different schools we go to for something called Big Apple. this year we go to Lincoln's field for this activity last year we went to Grady's field for this activity. What we do their is almost like H.S.P.D. just without our pads on. We also do things more as a team than separate and we run mostly the whole day their, then at the end when theirs like an hour left we do 7 on 7's. we are basically all tired that we cant even stand right in our stance or even run cause we did so much running earlier that day. Yes it's tiring but very fun at the end just that you cant give as much effort cause your body is aching so much. During that day we also go to the weight room in that school. Yet again we do it as a team i think that things like this has helped us in working as a team better cause we got to know each other in a way that when the quarter back throws the ball to his receiver he knows where and how to throw it. Linemen and the running backs, the linemen knows how the running backs want and likes their gap to be open. Football is a team sport, one player cant make a difference in a game but maybe that one player can change everybody's attitude on the field so that we can win the game. This activity last for about 2 to 3 weeks I believe. After we done with that we practice on our field and run for stamina again. What we do is we run about 5 or more different stations and thats about half the day. When we're done with that our coach lets us go to the store get something to eat and relax. Then we go back on the field and we start doing more football stuff and throughout the week we get our pads little by little and we start hitting after. Then after like 3 days we run less and do more football things like hit, position drills, and certain plays we go over defensively and offensively. This little activity we do is something like mini-camp then our season is here.
